Welcome to day 7 of our 12 days to unconventional Christmas countdown! By now I am sure you have caught on to just how non-traditional these holiday dishes have been and well that is because this year just is not very traditional. In fact, it is the perfect time to try out some new and exciting recipes and today is no different since we are making a Creamy Shrimp Pasta!

This recipe use’s amazing Cold Water Shrimp and a beautiful cream sauce that is as white as snow to create the ultimate comfort food for during this Holiday Season!

Here is what you will need:

  • 1 package of Pasta Noodles (You can use any noodles you like)
  • 1 tablespoon of Olive Oil
  • 2 Cloves of Garlic, Minced
  • 1 bag of Cold Water Shrimp (Available Here!)
  • 1 Splash of Dry White Wine
  • 1 cup of Heavy Whipping Cream
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese to taste

Alright let’s get to it!

First we begin by boiling our pasta. In a large pot, Bring some water to a boil but do not salt your water as this will add to the saltiness already provided by the shrimp. Cook your pasta until it is tender.

Next, in a pan heat your olive oil and add in your minced garlic. Cook this until it is soft so about 1 minute and then add in your shrimp. Once your shrimp has been cooking for about 3 minutes, add in your splash of white wine, reduce your heat to Medium and add in your cream. Let this simmer for roughly 5 minutes or until your sauce starts to thicken. Season with Salt and Pepper to taste.

Finally, Drain your pasta and then serve shrimp and sauce on top of a bed of pasta. You can equally mix all of this together in a separate serving dish so people can serve themselves at the table!

Pair this with Garlic Bread and top your dish with parmesan cheese to taste!

As always let us know how you enjoyed this recipe and let us know of any changes you might have made to the recipe so that we can try it for ourselves as well! Happy Holidays everyone!
